Gordy Moore is a Research Assistant with the BlueGreen Alliance Foundation in Minneapolis. His work focuses on a variety of research projects and reports, with an emphasis in transportation and GIS-based mapping. He recently graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul with a BA in Geography, along with a concentration in Urban Studies and a minor in Environmental Studies.

Throughout his college career, he was heavily involved in sustainability and climate initiatives on campus, intensifying his environmentally-based passions. He most recently was a work-study student and later an intern at the Great Plains Institute for Sustainable Development. At GPI he worked primarily on a statewide solar resource mapping project, in addition to writing energy efficiency-related case studies, performing data collection, and researching a diverse array of topics.
