The CEMC July webinar featured three speakers that gave great insight into the Market for Batteries in Transportation.

Kelly Jezierski, Manager of Energy Storage, NextEnergy, Detroit, MI discussed NextEnergy’s efforts to map the EV battery supply chain and identify growth-opportunities for businesses interested in the market. Kelly and her team are currently working with the battery OEM’s to determine their supply chain needs and what they are looking for in potential suppliers.

Kelly was joined by Joe Lagrasso, Manager, Global Battery Systems Engineering at General Motors and Rick Rajaie and Anthony Arena, Engineering Director and Battery Module Manager of LG Chem Power, Incorporated. 

Joe and Rick gave their company’s perspectives on the EV market and how their growth plans may impact the need for additional suppliers within the industry.
