Wednesday, March 27th — just one day after the launch by the U.S. Department of Energy — representatives of the new Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative (CEMI) discussed the program on a CEMC Webinar. Libby Wayman, Director of CEMI, provided information on the initiative.  Alan Goodrich and Ted James, both of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, gave a presentation on some of analysis related to the wind, solar and battery industries and how the U.S. can move ahead in these industries. This type of industry analysis is one segment of services that CEMI will offer.

About 150 people participated in the webinar, and they showed a good deal of interest and asked a variety of questions.
